BEAUTIFUL WATCHES FAIR

Le rendez-vous incontournable des passionnés d’horlogerie de prestige à Paris

We are pleased to announce the launch of the 9th edition of the BEAUTIFUL WATCHES fair. The 2015 edition will take place from November 27th to the 29th, 2015 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris

Belles Montres asserts itself year after year as the meeting place for prestige watchmaking enthusiasts in Paris. Fifty of the top brands come together to meet their public and present their innovations, their expertise and their history. The fair is a unique, friendly place where collectors and novices eager to learn about the magical world of watchmaking can rub shoulders.

The Beautiful Watches Fair 2015 obviously retains its own identity but in a more business oriented edition. Like Contemporary Art fairs, visitors can discover and acquire the object of their desire.

Furthermore, by partnering with The Gentlemen’s Trade Fair, new more “lifestyle” customers are given the opportunity to discover the world of watchmaking. Each fair will have a dedicated space, but with walkways to navigate from one universe to another.

Presenting original creations and innovations in watchmaking The Beautiful Watches Fair is also about introductory watchmaking workshops, conferences, thematic exhibitions, and free appraisals of antique watches or collections by the famous house Artcurial .

We’ve created this fair as a living space with dining areas, an ephemeral bookstore with authors and book signings, a VIP lounge, etc.
These are all elements that make the Beautiful Watches Fair a unique event where visitors and brands can meet and take the time to converse with each other.

8TH EDITION OBSERVATIONS

November 21st, 22nd & 23rd 2014 – PARIS, CARROUSEL DU LOUVRE

The 8th edition of the Beautiful Watches Fair enabled more than 13,000 visitors to meet fifty watchmakers from all over Europe.

Last year, the BEAUTIFUL WATCHES FAIR attracted 13,800 people, a crowd very close to that of 2013. A notable difference acclaimed by all players in this edition: more collectors, and foreign visitors, resulted in many partnerships being established this year… and as always , an enthusiastic breath of passion for fine watchmaking mechanics.

The public appreciated the diversity of exhibitors: Loyal brands present since the first edition, others that exposed for the first time or came back after having been absent for a few years and the strong presence of independent watchmakers brought together in a new dedicated area.

Bigger and redesigned, the new conference room was packed with a 20 session program hosted by the talented Gregory Gardinetti of the Fine Watchmaking Foundation, Ludovic Ballouard, Stephen Forsey, Kari Voutilainien, and many other internationally known speakers.

Also noted; the successful introductory workshops to watchmaking with over a hundred sessions delivered free of charge. Each participant left with a diploma « Objective Watchmaking ».

At the end of 2013, Jean-Philippe Barberot – Managing Director of the BEAUTIFUL WATCHES FAIR expressed his wish to bring a breath of fresh air with an international angle to the event : a wish that became a reality for this 8th edition with the help of Carl Gurdjian of PHG-UK, and a new dynamic underlined by the watch brands present.
